Glitter HTV Directions
Thank you for your order! Your glitter iron-on (heat transfer vinyl) arrives cut and weeded, on a clear plastic carrier sheet, ready to apply with a household iron or heat press.

What You Need
- A household iron (no steam) or a heat press
- A hard, flat surface such as a table or countertop with a thin towel. An ironing board is too soft.
- A cotton pillowcase, Teflon sheet, or parchment paper to cover the design (optional, but it protects your iron)
How to Apply
- Pre-iron your shirt. Press the garment for a few seconds to remove wrinkles and moisture.
- Place your design. Lay the iron-on with the clear plastic side up and the glitter side touching the fabric. Use our size chart for placement: about 3" below the neckline on adult shirts, 1.5" to 2" on youth, and 1" to 1.5" on toddler and baby.
- Set the heat. 320°F on a heat press, or the cotton (hottest) setting on most irons. Turn the steam off.
- Press firmly for 10 seconds. Use firm pressure and cover the entire design. With an iron, press section by section and do not slide the iron back and forth.
- Peel while warm. Wait a few seconds, then slowly peel the clear plastic backing up from the garment.
- Lifting? Press again. If any part does not stay down, lay the plastic back down and press that spot again for a few more seconds.
Care
- Wait 24 hours before the first wash
- Wash inside out on cold, gentle cycle
- Tumble dry low or hang dry
- Do not iron directly on the design and do not dry clean
- No bleach or fabric softener
Best Fabrics
Cotton, polyester, and cotton/poly blends work best. Test on a hidden spot first for nylon, rayon, or heat-sensitive fabrics.
